Merry Christmas 2024 arrangement

Christmas celebration organized by Danish Pakistani Business Council Tariq Sundoo CEO in collaboration with Pakistani Embassy Denmark H.E. Shoaib Sarwar .

H.E. Jakob Linulf Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan attended with his family.

This extraordinary event marked the 2nd year we have connected the local Christian Pakistani community in Denmark with their fellow Danes/Pakistanis within Denmark. As such, we look forward to growing the bridges further between these communities and deepening the ties between us.

The chief guests of the event were Pakistani Ambassador to Denmark, H.E. Shoaib Sarwar, and Danish Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Jakob Linulf. In the first part of the event, the birth of Jesus Christ and his great sacrifice were mentioned in Danish and Urdu. Who gave his life to save humanity from the sorrows, sufferings and sufferings of life. The women presented beautiful melodies in the form of a chorus in the glory of God and Jesus Christ. At the end of the event held in the church, prayers were held for world peace by joining hands.

In the second part of the program, which took place in a building adjacent to the church, bouquets of flowers were first presented to the chief guest. Ambassador Mr. Shoaib Sarwar said in his address that the teachings of Jesus Christ are not for a specific group of people but for all humans. He appreciated the efforts of Tariq Sundoo, CEO of Danish Pakistan Business Council, for organizing the event. And expressed the hope that they will continue to play their positive role in the coming years. Danish Ambassador Jakob Linulf described Christmas as a great tradition. He made a special mention of the 75-year diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Denmark and expressed his determination to take them to greater heights.

Politician and writer Bashy Quraishy conveyed a Merry Christmas message to the Christian community of Pakistan on behalf of Tariq Sundoo, CEO. Bashy specifically mentioned some aspects in his speech, in which he assured to stand with the Pakistani Christian minority in any difficult time. He further said that many people in Pakistan have been educated in Christian schools and I myself have also been educated in a Christian school and today I am able to continue interfaith activities in Europe.

Writer and poet Nasar Malik’s speech was exactly in line with those who have a passion for history and research. It was more of a research paper than a speech, in which he shed light on the promotion of Christianity and Urdu in great detail. Nasr Malik’s speech captivated the audience and heightened the intellectual atmosphere of the gathering. The event concluded with delicious Pakistani food from Tasty, which was enjoyed by all, and thus the gathering came to an end.

Imam Naveed Baig gave an excellent speech and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

Zenia Stampe MF, member of the Parliament, participated and gave a short speech with a big wish for a Merry Christmas and congratulations on the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries

Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen could not attend the event and sent a message via Martin Albech who said that Lars Løkke wishes you a nice Christmas and hearty congratulations on the 75th anniversary of good diplomatic relations between Denmark and Pakistan.
