New Danish Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Maja Mortensen

DPBCouncil & Friendship Association Hosted a Welcome Dinner for the New Danish Ambassador to Pakistan, Maja Mortensen. Strengthening Danish–Pakistani Relations:

Lindi Sundoo warmly welcomed Ambassador Maja Mortensen, Mr. Simo Derrous, Ambassador Shoaib Sarwar, Mrs. Sana Sarwar, Mr. Simo, Suhail Sundoo, and Tahir Siddique to the event.

During the meeting, a range of ideas and proposals for future cooperation between Denmark and Pakistan were discussed. The focus was particularly on export opportunities, trade, and the outsourcing of Danish medium-sized enterprises to Pakistan, as well as how to create better frameworks for economic growth and innovation between the two countries.

Tariq Sundoo (CEO), Ambassador Maja Mortensen, and Ambassador Shoaib Sarwar expressed a shared ambition to strengthen Danish–Pakistani relations through economic policy, strategic investments, and closer collaboration between the business community and government institutions.

“This meeting marks the beginning of a new chapter in the economic cooperation between Denmark and Pakistan,” said Tariq Sundoo. “We see great potential for growth and partnerships that will benefit both nations.”

The goal of this initiative is to promote the development of diversified, transparent, and equitable investment markets, contributing to sustainable growth, job creation, and the strengthening of the 76-year-old trade relations between Denmark and Pakistan.
