The Pakistan-Danish Business Club (PDBC) recently held a high-profile meeting in Sialkot, organized by Ali Trading Company. The event brought together the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce, the Pakistan-Danish Business Club, and the local business community in the industrial hub of Sialkot. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Haider Shabbir of Ali Trading Company (Private) Limited and was specially attended by the Danish Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Maja Derrous Mortensen.

Participants warmly thanked Ambassador Mortensen and praised her continued interest and initiatives in strengthening investment opportunities between Denmark and Pakistan.

Sialkot is renowned worldwide as a manufacturing hub, especially for sports equipment, with around 80% of the world’s footballs being exported from the city.

The Danish-Pakistan Business Council welcomes such initiatives and collaborative meetings to promote bilateral investment. It is hoped that Ambassador Mortensen’s engagement will help elevate investment promotion between Denmark and Pakistan to even greater heights.
