About the IPMF
The 4th IPMF, which has as its theme ‘Building together a resilient, prosperous and secure future’, is an important milestone in advancing strategic cooperation between the EU and the Indo-Pacific.
The futures of the two regions are closely linked through economic interdependence and the need to address shared global challenges. The rising economic, demographic, and political influence of the Indo-Pacific makes it a key actor in shaping the international order. Both EU and Indo-Pacific partners have a strong interest in ensuring shared stability and prosperity.
The 4th IPMF will bring together around 70 participants from the EU institutions and Member States, Indo-Pacific countries, and regional organisations from across the Indo-Pacific region from the East coast of Africa to the Pacific island states.
